It offers ultra-inert silica for superior peak shape and guaranteed batch-to-batch and column-to-column reproducibility. ACE C18 provides hydrophobic interactions and some shape selectivity for general reversed-phase applications and analytes including those differing in hydrophobicity, uncharged acids and bases, polar to non-polar analytes and ionised acids and bases (using ion-pair chromatography).
