Senior Dot Net Developer - Hyderabad

Job Description:

Option Matrix, Hyderabad is looking for recruiting 1 Senior .net programmer. We would like to invite experienced Microsoft .net professionals with at least 2-4 years experience in object oriented web application development with knowledge of engineering standards to ensure performance, scalability, readability, modularity and security. The individual is expected to lead 2 projects with master folder maintenance / live server updates. The candidate must have good intelligence and self learning skills to do research on new concepts and certifications required from time to time. The candidate must above all have strong programming skills in C#.net and must have executed at least 3 full life cycle projects over 2-4 years of project experience. This role will contribute in formulating the screen design for the project, preparation of class diagram, program design, module by module programming and unit testing. The projects cover functional areas like e-commerce, workflow automation, inventory control, order processing, content management, purchasing, warehousing and operations planning among others. The solutions are designed around Microsoft .Net platform. Both ASP.net and win form applications may be assigned but 80% of all our projects are ASP.net projects. This role requires skills like database design and object oriented architecture in model-view-controller design pattern. The salary for this role is Rs. 25000 to Rs. 30000/- per month based on experience / knowledge and there is a clear opportunity for further growth based on achievement of client satisfaction and repeat business. The candidate is expected to have high pro-activity and self learning ability. Junior programmers need not apply for this role. Initial support will be provided in first 1 week after joining the company.

Role Description:

This role is suitable for programmers who have at least 2 years experience in web development using C#.net in object oriented architecture. Deep knowledge of object oriented architecture and good programming practices is expected. This role will lead 2 projects at a time and will be responsible for full SDLC process right from initiation to transition stage. The project methodology will be based on Rational Unified Process but use of UML artifacts will be very limited at this stage. Class diagram is the main UML artifact that will be used and Visual Source Safe can be used for version control. Clear list of technical standards pertaining to database design, coding / naming conventions, SQL injection vulnerability, application performance and cross browser compatibility have been defined in our organization. This role is expected to understand and deliver as per organization standards. The project starts with a walk through and briefing session about the client requirements from either BDM or Business Analyst. The Business Analyst then discusses with client using SKYPE and prepares all screen designs to comprehensively cover all features of the current phase. The next step is to define the model classes and make a class diagram. Finally the stub level logic is written in code behind files and delegated to junior programmers on the team. The Senior .net programmer maintains the master project folder and integrates / corrects the work done by junior programmers on the team. Unit testing, coordination with Quality Analyst and uploading the updated application to live test server is the responsibility of this role. The candidate will be expected to program the more complex modules in the project and do research about integration of external API or third party .net components if needed. Currently our .net team uses Visual Studio 2008 with .net framework 3.5. This role will be a great opportunity for anybody who is passionate about Microsoft technologies and has a meaningful 2-3 years of experience in .net applications. We will require a minimum commitment of 1 year and we will implement a 1 year bond with a security check.
