Salary: Up to 2.75 Lakhs Per year (Based on Experience)
Objective: To contribute to business growth through the development of quality applications
to meet the requirements of extreme IT clients.
The purpose of the role is to Analyze & document the Testing Requirement as per specified standards. Involve in test design, test planning, testing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
 Must be able to work in Manual or Automation Testing methodologies
 Expert in writing Test Framework documentation, Test Plans and Test Cases.
 Must be able develop tools and frameworks for various testing methodologies.
 Research and Develop new automation solutions suitable for various software packages.
 Collaborate with project teams to define automation strategies, testing methods at various stages of the project.
 Conduct automation assessments.
 Provide business development support.
 Experience in setting up and managing Automation COEs.
 Proven skills in design and implementation of Automation Frameworks.
 Strong knowledge and experience in developing solutions using Automation tools (QTP is a must).
 Ability to provide solutions to complex automation issues and using non-standard tools.
 Experience in using open source tools is an advantage.
 Experience in automation consulting.
Qualifications and Experience
 Candidate should have relevant experience (depending on the position applying) of demonstrated Knowledge and Experience in Manual and Automation Testing. Automation Testing Tools like QTP, Silk Test, Load runner and Test management tools. Experience in more than 1 software package is advantageous. Analyze & Document the Testing Requirement as per specified standards.
 Test Design: Prepare System Test plans as per defined procedures. Ensure effective peer review of
documents and user manual (if applicable).
 Test Planning: Ensure all defects are removed before the project is phased to the Design phase. And the Metrics of the defects, changes and actual data of size, schedule, and effort are tracked and recorded. The Metrics are collected, reviewed and recorded as per the defined process.
 Documentation: Ensure project learning's are recorded in the project closure report and filed in the configuration library and Organization’s metrics database.
 Testing: Ensure copy system test, bug removal and recording of time sheet & bugs are carried out as defined. Track project computer resources, Team, risks, dependencies, assumptions & schedule to provide estimation variations to the project.
 Testing related tasks and understanding of test processes. Agile testing, Scrum and teamwork Test Automation. Compuware Test Partner. Performance / stress testing / unit testing. TFS and Visual Studio. SQL server etc.
 Exposure to all aspects of testing - Functional, Regression, Automated & Performance Bug reporting and bug tracking system
 Should be able to anticipate issues, think proactively, and be able to raise it with the lead & take measures to ensure smooth delivery
 Should be a Quick learner & be flexible to work across streams as per need
 Interact with business users to understand testing needs
 Must be a Good team player
 Testing related certifications - additional advantageous
 Good verbal, written communication skills.
