The current position is for an opening with our client for the position of MySQL Admin, the position is based in Hyderabad.
Client Discription
Our clientis is the only Indian timing company to time most 10K runs, half marathons, marathons, duathlons and police recruitment projects in India.The goal and objective of our company is to provide neat and reliable timing services to event organizers and runners participating in the events. It has changed the way Running Events have been organized by providing RFID Chip based timing for runners.Till date it has timed more than 9,00,000 runners in India
Job Desripition:
Experience : 4 to 5 years Exp

Candidate Specification
• Redhat Certified Professional / Engineer Certification/Database Certification
• 4+ years of administering Linux servers
• 2+ years of scripting (Bash and Perl preferred)
• 2+ years of administering Open LDAP, Apache, Tomcat, DNS and Mysql
• 2+ years of administering monitoring software (Opsview/Nagios)
• VMware(ESXi, VmFusion, vCenter)
• Familiarity with Dell hardware
• Experience with Security best practices and remediation
• Experience in collaborating in the “DevOps” method where Development and Systems Professionals work together to rapidly produce products and services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Provision, install and configure OSs using VMWare (vCenter)
• Install and Configure OS and Software via automated methods such as Cobbler and Puppet
• Daily system administration tasks & troubleshooting of Linux based servers
• System monitoring, tuning, support and patch using Redhat Satellite Server
• Database administration for MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Administer and manage user accounts via LDAP/Active Directory
• Backup and restore critical HLS data
• Identify opportunities to create and deploy automation framework and
methodologies
• Develop new systems, applications, tools for ITS internal and HLS Enterprise use
• Maintain procedural documentation
• Research, evaluate/test and recommend new technologies; keep abreast of
related technological developments
