The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is a partnership between the Government of Canada and the 4 Atlantic provinces:
New Brunswick
Newfoundland and Labrador
Nova Scotia
Prince Edward Island
To make Canadian immigration smoother for skilled workers and international graduates with low qualifying English score, the Canadian Government introduced the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. This program is exclusively for professionals who wish to live and work in prominent Atlantic regions of Canada. Introduced in 2017, the federal government and its provincial government partners aim to welcome more than 7,000 newcomers and their families to the Atlantic Canada region by 2020 through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program.
